Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Will J’s Workshop NZ Limited website (www.willjsworkshop.co.nz) and all services offered through it, including event bookings, creative entertainment services, and merchandise purchases. By accessing our website or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Will J’s Workshop NZ Limited is a registered New Zealand company. These Terms also govern services provided through our connected platform, Rare Rides NZ, which operates under Will J’s Workshop NZ Limited.
Part A – Event Services
Bookings
A booking constitutes an offer to engage our services. A binding contract is only formed when we provide written confirmation of your booking. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
Availability
Vehicle and service availability is subject to change. We will notify you promptly if your requested vehicle or service is unavailable and will work with you to identify a suitable alternative or provide a full refund.
Payment
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. A deposit may be required at the time of booking, with the balance due prior to the event. We accept bank transfer payments. Payment must be cleared before services are confirmed.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation terms will be set out in your booking confirmation. In general:
- Cancellations made with sufficient notice (as specified in your booking confirmation) may receive a full or partial refund of any deposit paid.
- Cancellations made with less notice may forfeit the deposit.
- Where we are unable to fulfill a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund.
Client Responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Treat all vehicles and associated equipment with due care and respect.
- Ensure that any agreed use of the vehicle (e.g., for film or photography) is conducted safely and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Not use our vehicles for any illegal purpose.
You may be liable for the cost of any damage caused beyond fair wear and tear.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with event and hire services is limited to the fees paid for that specific booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Part B – Merchandise Store
Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. All orders are subject to stock availability; we will notify you if an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are in NZD and include GST unless otherwise stated. We accept bank transfer. Payment must be cleared before goods are dispatched. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if an error is found, we will give you the option to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel your order.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the buyer. Estimated delivery times are 10–14 business days within New Zealand. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the address provided.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
If a product is faulty, damaged, or does not match its description, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. We do not offer returns for change of mind. Items may be exchanged for a different size provided the customer covers return freight costs.
Part C – Creative Entertainment Services
Our creative entertainment services (including children’s entertainment and creative space experiences) are currently in development. Specific terms applicable to these services will be provided at the time of booking. General terms regarding payment, cancellation, and liability set out in Part A apply where relevant.
